Outline

This course will run over two Saturday’s and focus on basic knitting techniques for knitting in the round to make a toque style hat. Homework knitting may be required.

  • Class 1: Introduction to knitting in the round
    • Homework: Complete the knitting
  • Class 2: Shaping and finishing.

Prerequisites

Students should be comfortable with knit and purl stitches. 

What do you need to provide?

Students are responsible for providing their own yarn, needle(s) and pattern. This pattern is available on Ravelry. We can help you get it if needed.

We recommend Berroco Mercado, Falkland Chunky, or Drops Air for this project.
